Course preview image cannot be deleted

What happened?

A course preview image cannot be permanently removed with the "Remove Asset"-button under project settings.

Expected behaviour

A course preview image could be permanently removed width the "Remove Asset"-button under project settings. Instead, the default course preview image should be used again. The uploaded image can then be removed in the asset manager, if not otherwise in use.

Steps to reproduce

1. Upload an image in the asset manager.
2. Select the image under project settings as course image.
3. Save the course.
4. Remove the image with the "Remove Asset"-button under project settings.
5. Save the course again. The course image has disappeared and seems to be deleted.
6. Reload the project settings page in the browser (ctrl + F5 on linux).
7. The course image is displayed again.
