how to get latest macos binary

the latest release does not include a prebuilt dmg file for macos, and the tarred unbuilt files don't have an executable build script anywhere i looked. Is macos still supported?

It is still supported. It is in our backlog as the step to build macOS and release it requires additional steps such as signing the release with a developer key
