This is literally an instance with Better Combat, this mod, and dependencies resulting in the issue. All I did was swing a sword.

1.1.3 seems to be the latest version available for 1.21.1

Are you making your own mod @UmbralCosmos? Better Combat doesn't use PAL on 1.21.1
Anyways yeah there is a big update coming for 1.21.1
