Minecraft Bedrock Issue #26

Description

@avoladrian1

Bug: Launching the game is an absolute success,

the problem is when I try to create a world. Whenever I would try to create any type of a world, it just flat out doesn't work. The loading bar is just fixated to 0%.

How to reproduce this bug:

  • Launch the game with VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11,dxr ./wine /home/$USER/WineGDK/Minecraft/Content/Minecraft.Windows.exe or any other directory.
  • Try to create a world, & customize the settings of your world to your absolute liking.
  • Click Create World or similar, and proceed to view the loading bar not getting past 0%.

Information that might be useful ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°):

  • Specs;
    • NVIDIA 2060 RTX
    • Intel i5 GPU
    • 16GiBs of Memory (does this really matter?)
  • Distribution, desktop environment, and the compositor;
    • Arch Linux
    • KDE Plasma Latest as of 19/11/25
    • Wayland
  • Minecraft itself;
    • Running on 1.21.123
    • Running on the default wine package
  • Logs are here
  • Apparently, 1.21.120 works much better than 1.21.123 :O (worlds at least are being created on 1.21.120, as I heard)
