Keyboard option cannot type Spaces

When using the keyboard input mode, pressing space on android's on screen keyboard does not insert a space into the text field of the controlled device. This makes it impossible to type commands into a terminal emulator if the command has any spaces.
I also tried to type spaces into a web browser (firefox) and no spaces were inserted into a search bar.

For Example, typing this command out;
sudo apt update
comes out as:
sudoaptupdate

Equipment:
Raspberry pi 5 with latest version of raspberry pi OS (64 bit)

I tried these android keyboards, and none of them worked:

1. Florisboard
2. FUTO Keyboard
3. Samsung Default Keyboard

Openterface Version:
1.0.7 (Installed via github releases-provided APK)
Device Used:
Samsung Galaxy A34 (SM-A346E)
Android 14, One UI 6.1

@dddnk Although they are all on Android devices, different brands may have different keyboard inputs. This makes me very confused. Other keys are working normally, but the space bar is not working properly. I have made a space bar position in the keyboard. Can you help me try to see if it works properly?

I would like to help, but another bug is not allowing connections between my phone and the KVM.

During the brief period that I managed to get Openterface working on Android, I tested this with the included software keyboard in the Openterface app. That keyboard types spaces correctly, though the system keyboard still does not type spaces.

In subsequent versions, we will consider removing the built-in keyboard of the system, as different mobile phone brands and manufacturers have different keyboards. It would be a huge task to fully support the keyboards of all manufacturers. So in the future, we will continuously optimize the built-in keyboard of openterface to ensure that its keyboard is fully functional
