Error when deleting preset from "Active Export Presets" in Addon Preference

Deleting even once will cause an error when exporting

The selected object(s) require a Export Preset to be defined - check the Export Lists to see all missing properties.

Things that have been tried but not resolved.

• Restart Blender
• Delete ">Capsule Blend File Data<"

How I was able to solve the problem.

• "Append" the collection to a new scene

This problem has been happening for a long time.
Is there anything else I can try besides "Append"?

Can you describe in more detail what your scene is like or provide a demo scene so I can examine the issue?

Also I appreciate this might be obvious advice, but this error should only appear if you try to export something that doesn't have an Export Preset assigned. If you delete an Export Preset then any collection or object that had it assigned will be reset to having no Export Preset.

I tried it.
It seems that sometimes the Export Location in Scene Properties does not change after changing the Export Location in the N-Panel.
I attach a screenshot.
In this scene, even if the Export Location is change to "None" or "Location 1" in the N-Panel, it remains "None" in the Scene Properties.
And after this even if I change the Export Location in Scene Properties the error keeps occurring

I tried a simple scene, but could not get it to this state, so I cannot attach the scene file. sorry.

Thanks for clarifying, after playing around I was able to somehow replicate the issue on Blender 4.0.3 but not reliably as you stated. I'll mark this as confirmed but as I can't identify the specific bug I can't guarantee when I'll have a fix.
