Add Personalization for Amplitude of Vibrotactile Patterns #62

Overview

Introduce a feature that allows users to personalize the amplitude (intensity) of vibrotactile patterns. This would enable users to adjust the vibration strength to their personal preferences or needs, improving the overall user experience of haptic feedback.

Current Behavior

Currently, vibrotactile patterns have a fixed amplitude, providing the same intensity to all users. This limits user customization, especially for individuals with different sensitivity levels to vibration, or those who may need stronger or softer feedback.

Proposed Solution

  • Add a slider or scale to allow users to adjust the amplitude of vibrations.
  • Consider calibration for the lower and upper limit of the amplitude.
  • Ensure real-time feedback as the user adjusts the slider, allowing them to feel the vibration strength immediately.

Expected Behavior

  • Users can easily adjust the amplitude of vibrotactile patterns based on their preferences.
  • Amplitude changes reflect immediately to provide real-time feedback during customization.

Acceptance Criteria

  • A slider or scale is available in settings to control the overall amplitude of vibrations.
  • Real-time feedback is provided when users adjust the amplitude.
  • (Optional) Users can save amplitude profiles for different contexts or activities.

Additional Context

  • Adjustments might even occur on a per-actuator level
