Unload combine job. Tractor reversing with front wheels jiggering

Often when I'm running an unload combine job, the tractor with the trailer will approach the harvester, then stop, start reversing, with the front wheels switching from side to side. This usually happens if I continue to drive the combine with the pipe out. It doesn't happen if I stop the harvester then put the pipe out.

What is the cause of this behaviour, and can I make adjustments to settings to get it to stop?

I can eventually get it to work, by retracting then extending the pipe one or two times, but I'd like to get it to work straight up.

I am using version 3.0.0.8

Edit. I am driving the harvester, and manually opening the pipe to call the tractor. However, I have observed this happening as well if I have courseplay controlling the harvester.

Sequence of events.

Harvesting with harvester, approaching full. I am driving the harvester manually.
Extend Pipe (with O command)
Watch tractor start, drive around the field and approach the harvester. It will be lining up correctly with the pipe.
Tractor stops a short distance away from the harvester, and starts reversing. The front wheels rapidly switch from side to side.

Retract pipe, and try again.
Often on 2nd attempt the tractor will approach the harvester correctly and line up under the pipe so that I can unload on the move.

Description of issue as above. As tractor approaches the combine, it stops, starts reversing with the front wheels switching back and forth as it retreats. In the three images attached, the harvester is continuing forward, but the tractor has stopped and started reversing.

Just a note: if you use EasyDev, why PowerTools is still active?

When the grain tank reaches 95%, the driver expects the thresher to move into a position where he can drive up to it.
This was implemented for CoursePlay in case the combine harvester first has to position itself so that it does not stand in the crop during unloading.

If you are driving the harvester, the signal to call the tractor is to open the pipe. Otherwise the tractor will only follow the harvester.

Hi Iwan,

thanks for the response. I have edited my issue above to indicate that I am manually driving the harvester, and am in fact opening the pipe to call the tractor. I find that the tractor sits idle while harvesting until such time as I open the pipe. The first time I do this, is usually when the tractor approaches the harvester, stops, then starts reversing away and cycling it's front wheels.

If I close and open the pipe a 2nd time, then often the tractor will then approach correctly and I can unload on the move. Sometimes it takes another close of the pipe, and a 3rd open to get the tractor to approach correctly.

However, if I stop the harvester, then open the pipe, the tractor approaches correctly every time.

In the images above, there is plenty of room for the tractor/trailer on the side of the field to approach and unload on the move. The same behaviour I've outlined above will happen when the combine is in the middle of the field and the tractor/trailer can approach without driving over the fruit as well.

While I do have Easy Dev Controls installed, it is not activated in this save, as I actually prefer the Power Tools, so they are activated.
