how to change keybinds

im sorry if its a repeated questions , this is my first time using MPV and i stumbled upon this using This video , this video doesnt show how to customize more settings like setting keybinds like arrowkey up for volume increase and down arrow key for volume down , instead of skipping the video AND like when i open my file the audio level is too loud and it resets everytime , i need a way to set that aswell) , i read through your page and couldnt figure out were input.conf is.

help would be appreciated , i switched from VLC (vlc was lagging so much) . i watch anime and movies mostly.

This is done in the mpv side of things. Add a file and name it input.conf in the same mpv folder that has mpv.conf

On mpv's repo, they have a file with default values and many unused options which you can use as reference:

Alternatively, you can have a minimal input list, you can view the one I use as reference here:

For me, I add input-default-bindings=no in mpv.conf to disable all keybinds, and only use the ones listed in the input.conf example I showed you for a minimalist use scenario. You can adjust that to your liking, of course.
