Switch to mathematical descriptions of patterns

For any pattern there should be an analytical formula which can be implemented. They're all periodic in nature, so it should be pretty easy. Will need to do some fun stuff with phase in order to translate things properly on a meshgrid, but it'll make the most sense for more complex patterns like radial Moire spiral
