500 errors don't raise exceptions

I think it would make sense to raise exceptions on the local machine if a remote request returns a status 500. I've been hitting situations where this sort of functionality would have saved a lot of heart ache.

FWIW, I agree with this; however, when would you want an exception raised? #save returns false on a 500 error (though that in-and-of itself is not very AR-esque; AR would raise an error).

I think a return of false and an error messages pushed to the errors that's
appropriate to a 500.
