Build one or more NER prototypes that can be used in other projects #2
Description
At the moment, there are three potential NER prototypes that we are planning to build:
- Nemo-Serve for entity recognition, SAPBert for entity linking
- Currently in development: Add PubAnnotation test nemo-serve#3
- Nemo-Serve for entity recognition, QuickUMLS for entity linking
- Needs to be discussed and scheduled
- OGER/Ontorunner for entity recognition and linking
- QuickUMLS for entity recognition and linking
- Needs to be discussed and scheduled
All of these individual components have now been built, so we need:
- Python scripts in this repository that allow someone to send text to any of these NER prototypes and get back entities in the PubAnnotation JSON format
- In progress as Nemo-Serve integration tests at Add PubAnnotation test nemo-serve#3
- Improve Nemo-Serve's speed nemo-serve#14
