Can't import data (after re-install)

Hi.
After realizing that I was running a very old version, I decided to update the app to see if it would resolve the issues I was having (most pressingly, perpetual Ice Week). However, simply downloading and running the APK for V14 didn't work: I was asked if I wanted to update the app, but only received the message "App not installed as package conflicts with an existing package". No problem, I thought, since there's a data import. So I used "Export Data" in the old app (V6, based on the APK-files I have downloaded), checked that PokemonWalkExport.zip was created, un-installed the app and installed V14.

I've been unable to get the app to import the data. Pressing "Import Data" seemingly does nothing, unless it's data that's just been created by a successful "Export Data". I've even tried importing data exported from a different instance of V14 - same result.

There's some stuff that might be relevant in the Error Log, but it's too wide to see the full lines on one screen, making it hard to screenshot. Can I access it somewhere?

Import Data is very picky about something I haven't tracked down. It imports the file as long as nothing else has touched that file for unclear reasons, I assume permissions are involved. Additionally, I messed up when I changed development machines and current versions are signed with a different key than earlier versions, which gives that "conflicts with an existing package" error. This might also affect permissions that stop the app from loading the file.

I'm very sorry, but the the answer is "Start over from the beginning". On the up side, you'll be able to get Fusions, shinies, and pokemon you catch walking will be stronger than the ones you caught before. Tomorrow, the 27th, is also Shiny Day with double the odds of finding one.

I am glad to see you were still interested in my game, and I hope you can forgive my amateur mistake for losing the app signing keys.
