Hi,What should I do to obtain void fraction in phasicflow?

You can use postprocessData to obtain the solid volume fraction (phi) and then 1-phi is the void fraction.

there, the solid volume fraction is calculated. you can apply it to your simulation.

Can the grid domain shape define a frustum of a cone?

No. Only rectangular for the moment. But you can activate a countNumber operation on cells to count number of particles in the cells and exclude those cells that do not contain any particles. Like the one we used for segregation simulation in postprocess tutorials.
It is cylindrical drum, but we used a rectangular mesh.

if processMethod is arithmetic and you have this dictionary in the operations list:

countNumber
{
    function        sum;
    field           one;
    phi             one;
    divideByVolume  no;
    
}

this gives you number of particles in each cell.
