Question: Update 0.1.7 via eMMC flash or UI?

Hey! I saw you recently released 0.1.7! Thanks for sticking to this project, I still use my Neptune 4 Pro regularly and think it is a great printer!

Quick question to get up to date: in the release notes you suggest to backup the configuration and re-flash the eMMC. Is there any differene if I do this, compared to just upgrading to the latest version via the UI? That'd be easier, as I don't have to dissassemble my printer, thanks!

I personally am sticking to 1.5 for now. Looks like 1.7 still has a few bugs to work out until it is fully stable.

I am excited for the update but don't want to take the chance of the issues that came up.

@kristian When you update via UI, "only" Klipper, Moonraker, Mainsail, Fluidd will be updated. You will also update all packages for Armbian, but you will stick on Armbian version, delivered with the version you installed

When you flash your eMMC with 0.1.7 and restore your config files, you will also have latest Armbian Version based in Trixie.
This brings also new compilers and kernel, what's seems leading to issues described by @kaufholdj
But there seems to be fixes in actual/next Klipper versions.

This was fixed in a recent klipper update Klipper3d/klipper#7142

To properly update you must flash the v0.1.7 release image
