number of correction step (NumCrctn) for Beamdyn

Hello,
I'm using the IEA 15 MW wind turbine model and I'm trying to use Beamdyn to model the aeroelasticity of the blade. The minimum time step required to ensure stability is dt=0.0005 s. I recently discovered that it is possible to enhance the time step and reduce the computation time if I put a value for NumCrctn in the .fst file.
It is recommended to do that? Can you give me advice on how to select the right number of corrections? are there some cons when using this strategy?

We presented the initial results of our new tight coupling algorithm at WESC 2023 a week ago. We are currently working on the full implementation of the tight coupling algorithm in OpenFAST and expect to present the final results at the upcoming NAWEA / WindTech 2023 conference in October.

I also attended the WESC conference, but unfortunately, I couldn't attend your presentation. Today, I attempted to utilize NumCrctn with values of 1, 2, 3, and 4, but it didn't converge with a larger time step. The only suitable time step is still 0.0005.
I will eagerly await any new advancements in your work. Do you have any information about when the new version of OpenFAST will be released?
