Description
I had an update and feedback discussion with Nick from Hats. They are extremely professional and motivated.
Very willing to be hands-on with us to do whatever it takes to help us successfully implement and evolve our use of Hats.
They even took these notes and shared them with me as a start - I've then added a bit and turned them into a check-list:
What we need to get started -> and ODC should be able to take a crack at actually inputting the addresses and doing the mints etc however if we need help, they are available
- any adjustments to the tree
- your top hat image (we have the 2 for Regen Rangers assuming we like these)
- for each of the 7 hats: (i.e. 3 levels x 2 + new member)
- the image (optional - will fallback to the top hat image)
- name, and any description(optional)
- the address(es) that should initially wear the hat
- the address that should be able to revoke the hat (and/or turn it off -> these will likely be new multi sigs); also they have a module which can automatically give a Hat wearing signing authority on a multi sig
Notes:
- all-hands discussion is Tuesday, can circle back after that
- target deploy at Hat mints before Apr 25th!
- start with socialware, move to trustware over time (specifically by using mechanistic eligibility modules (https://docs.hatsprotocol.xyz/#eligibility), instead of manual minting)
- approximately 20 hats to mint for jedi and regen rangers, plus 1/3 or so of the 75 prior hackathon competitors
