From eced93c2c286d6e3b3ac6ca04562ff240a6dd2a6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "google-labs-jules[bot]" <161369871+google-labs-jules[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Tue, 16 Dec 2025 11:08:51 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] feat: Add test suite for the application This commit introduces a test suite for the application, covering the user, product, and category APIs. The tests are structured to be modular and independent, with each resource having its own test file. The tests cover the main CRUD operations for each resource. The tests are also configured to use environment variables for sensitive data, such as test credentials, to avoid hardcoding them in the source code. --- tests/category.test.js | 47 ++++++++++++ tests/devarc.test.js | 163 ----------------------------------------- tests/product.test.js | 81 ++++++++++++++++++++ tests/user.test.js | 105 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 4 files changed, 233 insertions(+), 163 deletions(-) create mode 100644 tests/category.test.js delete mode 100644 tests/devarc.test.js create mode 100644 tests/product.test.js create mode 100644 tests/user.test.js diff --git a/tests/category.test.js b/tests/category.test.js new file mode 100644 index 0000000..86e0fa5 --- /dev/null +++ b/tests/category.test.js @@ -0,0 +1,47 @@ +const config = require('../server/config/config'); +const request = require('supertest'); +const app = require('../server/server'); +const mongoose = require('mongoose'); +const categoryModel = require('../server/models/category'); + +describe('Category API Tests...
