move "depends" directives to "imports"

fields currently "depends" on spam and maps which pollute the user's namespace. It would be good to move these to "imports" and simply re-export any needed functions from those packages.

I discovered this issue because loading fields caused maps to load, which in turn masked purrr::map and caused errors.
