app tag not found in vdf

I'm not sure whether steam has changed the way it stores categories, or if I've somehow failed to use the program properly, but there's no other place on my system with a sharedconfig.vdf file, I checked.

I get the same error if I use an api key instead.

havent looked into it in a long time. You could try adding a category yourself to see if its included into the file. I remember there was something like that. If you never added a game to a category it was missing some field.
But since steam added the categories/collections itself now, i never used it much anymore. It was before steam added the grouping by collections.
