Stable version & YamlDotNet update ?

Hello @MartinJohns, I have been using your package since a few months and it's working fine so far.
Yet it has no "stable" version.
And if I update the YamlDotNet version on other dependencies of mine, I end up with breaking conflicts.

Is there a plan to maintain this project up to date or it's better I fork it to do so ?
Would you accept a pull request ?
