Failure to melt crashes the app

I am working on an issue with a local mint. Due to a bug on the mint I'm able to create a melt quote, but then the request to execute the melt quote fails with some CORS errors. Our app retries, after all retries are exhausted the error boundary screen is shown:

Potential solution

If all retries are exhausted we should just fail the quote because something is wrong with the mint and its probably better to release the proofs than leave the transaction pending until the quote expires.
