Help with peak detection script #9

Hello!
I am a Master's student working with your codes to analyse SC responses. I have some questions regarding the Peak detection script because the results are leaving me quite suspicious.
I feed to the algorithm the raw EDA signal and, in the results, bits that are clearly noise artefacts are counted as significant. So I was wondering if the script is supposed to filter the data before extracting the peaks. If it is supposed to do so, then I can't work out why it doesn't do that with me.
Could anyone be of help? I am using python 3.7, as asked in the "requirements" file.
