How do I integrate Icarust with the basecaller?

This may be a naive question, but I've really been poking at this for a while and am spinning my wheels. How do I connect Icarust to a basecaller? I can get Icarust itself running and can retrieve squiqqle data through the minknow Python API. What's the next step?

For example, on the "Ideology" architecture diagram, where does the actual basecaller fit in? Does it "plug in" to Readfish somehow or to the Rust gRPC server through the minknow API? Should I be using dorado or ont-dorado-server?

If anyone has some high-level pointers or examples I can look at, it would really be a big help!
