Plan for 2026

Here is a suggestion of improvements that I think are achievable in 2026. They are listed in their order of priority. This list should not discourage user feedback and suggestions, and they should remain a driving factor in the decisions and efforts put in this project. The goal of this issue is to open the discussion and organize the work better.

1. Provide OCaml 5.3 support (#39). This is already a work in progress (#38).
2. Improve the user documentation (#42).
3. Refactor the internals (#43).
4. Provide a branch with OCaml 4.14 support (#44).
5. Provide OCaml 5.4 support (#45).

Please feel free to comment (even in December) on this issue if you'd like to prioritize something or suggest other improvements. Keep in mind that there is a limited capacity and choices must be made to keep the plan reasonable.

I am considering #19 for next year. Implementing #43 should help developing new features like this.
