Successful responses have no access to the response object

Since we're only returning the body of the request, there is no way for the client to check meta like status (e.g., 200 vs. 201).

Errors have limited information from the response made available to them:

This will require some research as to the best mechanism for allowing the user to access the entire response (as opposed to just the body)
