KUAL not appearing after successful MRPI command

Paperwhite 11 - successful in all steps
Following Adbreak, which has been successful at step https://kindlemodding.org/jailbreaking/post-jailbreak/installing-kual-mrpi/ - I have tried both the Update method and the command method a number of times, no errors, >150mb space, but the KUAL book never appears which it says it should
I successfully see KUAL file being called on the screen and I get Done, restarting UI with the Amazon logo
But no KUAL

Is there some other way to get this there?

I have the same issue, Kindle PW 12th 5.17.
i used the ones in the website

Same issue here.
2024 Kindle Scribe (1st Gen)
Installed WinterBreak fine.
Intalled Hotfix fine.
Kual install process did as expected and gave the Application Error dialog and then booted back to the Library with no Kual book.
Connected to my computer, copied the Update_KUALBooklet_hotfix_*_install.bin file to the root of Kindle when connected to your PC, Disconnected from PC, could not find any option to Update Kindle but now the Library shows several copies of "kxfreader_6572_038_1702_pisc..." "kxfreader_4547_038_1702_pisc..." "kxfreader_8957_038_1702_pisc..." "kxfreader_6449_038_1702_pisc..." "kxfreader_4503_038_1702_pisc..." "KPPMainAppV2_4562_038_juno_1702_pisc.." "KPPMainAppV2_7594_038_juno_1702_pisc.." "KPPMainAppV2_4617_038_juno_1702_pisc.."

Still no Kual book.

I just figured it out on my end with the Kindle Scribe 2024.
Since I was using the method that fills up the drive to prevent updates. There is no mention of how much space is needed to free up for KUAL. I deleted one of the 1GB files to free up 1GB on my Kindle and tried the process of installing KUAL again (you have to add the .bin file again btw) and this time it worked and the KUAL book is now present.

Since I was using the method that fills up the drive to prevent updates. There is no mention of how much space is needed to free up for KUAL. I deleted one of the 1GB files to free up 1GB on my Kindle and tried the process of installing KUAL again (you have to add the .bin file again btw) and this time it worked and the KUAL book is now present.

Sadly I'd already tried that, wasn't the issue for me

Okay, so I decided to fully eliminate this issue - I had 1gb free, decided to clear up everything leaving 3.2gb free
Lo and behold it works
No idea why that much is needed when KUAL is only a few MB but 🤷
