Adding a new word into the dictionary/data isn't working

I'm trying to add a new keyword. It gets added to the source._.php files but as I try to add it in data._.php (in continuation to the last) it doesn't work. I would appreciate if this can be solved.

You need to serialize the source.<type>.php file.

Yes, It's serialized. Then also problem persists.
