A failure occurred during CICS bundle pushing

Hi team,
I'm trying to deploy a node.js application to a cics region and I've got the following error:

C:\Work\Mainframe API\Zowe-build\MainframeAPI-Express>zowe cics-deploy push bundle --name MFAPI --overwrite
Command Error:
A failure occurred during CICS bundle pushing.
Reason = Failure occurred creating a zosmf session: cli_1.ZosmfSession.createBasicZosmfSession is not a function

Could you please advise.

Using the installation documentation I've not been able to reproduce this issue. Currently we expect the deploy plugin to be installed with @zowe/cli@zowe-v1-lts. I can see that createBasicZosmfSession has been deprecated within this version and I wonder whether the user is using a different version of the zowe plugin.

Thank you for your answer.
I'm using Zowe CLI v2 and actually Zowe v3 is coming.
May I know if/when cics-deploy plugin is compatible with Zowe v2/v3 and can read zowe team config.

One idea might be to contribute the command functionality back to the CICS plugin.

That way, the cics-deploy command group will be shown in the Online WebHelp without having to perform too many steps.

Hi @zFernand0 , yes it probably does make sense for the CICS Bundle Deploy plugin to be part of the core CICS plugin.
Is there a way for us to see how much download activity there is from npmjs.com ? I haven't seen much use of it from customers I've worked with, although I can see that this issue came from slack so maybe it's getting more activity than I'm aware of.

Since we last discussed this, we have had more contributors which have been a great help in enhancing the CICS monorepo (SDK, CLI plug-in and VSCode extension)

@Joe-Winchester, I believe the end goal will be to have IBM donate the source code to Zowe 🙏
