no toggle buttin to use OpenAI Keys

Im using Claude and Im using my own api keys, but when i enter my ngrok API endpoint under Open AI, I still don’t t see the toggle button to use OpenAI Keys. do i need an Open AI key or is it because I updated cursor ai?

Can you put a dummy key in the OpenAI key field? That will not be used anyway, so you can put some string to see if the toggle shows up

I did that and still nothing showed up. I actually added a real key.

Only claude and azure got the toggle switch ( and i never used azure) _ got version - Version: 0.39.6

I cannot complete the configuration with the key from Anthropic API.

It used to be possible to provide a link to the Anthropic API in the OpenAI API section, enter the address from ngrok and it worked, but it is currently impossible to verify a key there that is not an OpenAI key, so it will not be saved.

The Anthropic API Key section also lacks the possibility to overwrite the Base URL.

Hi, Thanks for sharing the screenshot. You only need to specify the Base URL to the ngrok one and a dummy OpenAI model (and use a GPT model when using the Chat or Composer. The main setting for your API key will be in .env file and to add models (and activate them) will be from the dashboard of Cursorlens. I need to make the documentation more clear. The way you are talking about will not work if someone does not have funds in their Open AI account. Cursor currently checks that the limits on the Open API account have not been used:
