Handle poetry

For example, book number 000000196 is "A Poetical Aviary," which contains lots of poetry. Maybe there could be a way to preserve the line breaks if a particular block is indented, and has jagged (non-justified) right margins?

Preserving line breaks is easy. Inferring paragraph styles is quite a bit more difficult, particularly for short text blocks, but we can certainly do better than we're doing currently. We need something like this to handle block quotes as well.

Some of the interesting attributes that we probably want to compute include: block indent, leading indent, centered, ragged/flush left/right. Based on these we can attempt to classify text blocks by type.

One of the resources that needs to be developed is a style guide. Whatever markup language gets chosen will probably have multiple ways of doing things, so the style guide would describe what gets marked up and how. This can then serve as a specification for the conversion programs and a reference for human editors who come later.
