The dependencies specified in pyproject.toml are quite old:
[tool.poetry.dependencies]
python = "^3.10"
astropy = "^6.0.0"
asdf = "^3.1.0"
gwcs = "^0.21.0"
jsonschema = "^4.21.1"
numpy = "^1.26.4"
The carets mean that the major version should not be updated. But most of those dependencies have newer versions: astropy 7.2, asdf 5.1, gwcs 1.0, numpy 2.3.
Would you consider making astrodata compatible with these newer libraries?
