I would love to be able to see if this works on linux, but the cl tool is windows dependent. Is the whole CAS effect limited?

While the samples are Windows-only, CAS can be used on Linux as demonstrated by vkBasalt.

Likewise, FSR can also run on Linux (see DOTA 2 for an example).
