Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
After the laptop enters a sleep state, power to port 5 is lost. The connected device no longer registers until the expansion card is reseated.
If nothing is in port 5, and you plug something into port 5, it will cause the keyboard, numpad, touchpad, and power to all cycle off for a moment, an overcurrent error is seen in the logs, and the port does not work until the expansion card is reseated.
Steps To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Power on laptop, observe port 5 works
- Let the laptop sleep (come back to it after an hour or so)
- Try and plug something into port 5, where port 5 is using a USB A expansion card
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
Ports shouldnt disconnect.

N/A - to mitigate this, I have placed a 250gb expansion card in this slot, it does not seem to have this issue. Will replace with a USB A port if needed for logs.

Additional context
Add any other context about the problem here.
I can readily reproduce this with any of the usb A ports in my collection of usb A ports. Moving the same card to another slot does not move the issue. This only happens on port 5 - I believe I can also reproduce this with the 3.5mm expansion card and usb c cards - but have not tested to that extent.
