Describe the bug

The battery randomly reports a “charging” state even when no charger is connected.
This occurs intermittently on Windows and almost continuously on Linux. On Linux, the system repeatedly detects AC adapter connect/disconnect events, resulting in continuous charging notification beeps. The issue occurs even when the laptop is completely unplugged, with no charger or peripherals connected.
