Tiff Xmp metadata could not be deleted. #3318

Describe the bug
I just want to delete the Xmp custom field information of tiff format image using command line : "exiv2 -dx image_file_name_of_tiff", and no error was returned, It looks like the command line works correctly, when I print the metadata information again, the xmp information still exists in metadata.
Is there anyone else who encounters the same problem with me? Or give me some advice to deal with this problem. Thank you very much!
