[Question] Native Android version or local emulation?

Hi!

I was wondering if there are any plans to release a native Android version in the future? If not, is there any way to emulate it locally on the device (not an online/web version)?

I have a Samsung Tab S11 Ultra and I would really love to use this program because, currently, there are no Android apps that offer infinite zoom where the pencil size scales based on the zoom level. Thanks!

An Android port is planned, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get to it. Before I port to Android, I'd like to get touch input working properly, since that's completely broken (tested it on the web version on a phone). As for the Android release after that, I've never developed anything for Android, so I can't be sure how long that'll take.

I haven't tried emulating desktop apps on Android, so I'm not sure how that would work for InfiniPaint. There is an arm64 flatpak linux version, which is something that might work on an android tablet through an emulator. Although you did say that you didn't want the web version, I should mention that the app can be compiled into a single HTML file. It would still have the restrictions that the web version has, but it can be opened in a browser completely offline.
