[Suggestion] Switch from pan to zoom on pen touch

Pan could be triggered like it is now with a pen button but switched to zoom as soon as the pen touches the display. This way you could pan and zoom pretty intuitivly just moving the pen and pressing a single button.

I really like this idea, and I already coded it in so it's ready for the next release. That being said, I'll be testing it out in the time before the release to see if it's worth keeping it, or maybe adding an option and having it off by default. I'm also unsure whether some users expect it to still be panning even while the pen is down on the screen, so I'll still have an option to toggle it on/off regardless.

If you're aware of any program that has this zoom method, it would be great for me to see them for reference.

Yes, rnote does that but it seems to be unintentional and for me happens only in Xorg with wacom drivers but not wayland. In wayland it only pans with pen-touch and that's it.
Somebody else mentioned it on their forums but i cannot find it anymore.
Anyway, what it currently does in xorg/wacom is in pan-mode to switch to zoom mode when pen touches and then it only zooms but not pans. As soon as you lift the pen it goes back to panning.
You hold the pen button assigned for panning during that whole process and when you release it, it goes back to normal.
I am speculating that the panning was suppossed to happen only on pen-touch like now on wayland because for the "feature" to work you need to have the zoom function assigned to a 2nd pen-button, which you do not have to press now, but it gets triggered when you pen-touch while panning with the pen hovering.
So maybe a hickup in pen-input assignments, which is also a general issue some ppl have depending on xorg vs wayland and wacom vs opentabletdriver vs wayland-drivers, oh right and there is also windows.
It seems to be complicated.
