Tool Suggestion: Game Conversion Tool #71
Description
We have been seeing a lot of people struggle to proper build their games.
To overcome that I'm suggesting a tool that can be both used as a standalone App and as a tool for the editor.
It's the EasyRPG Game Converter:
This mockup is very barebones, but I'm trying to imagine some of the issues that can be tweaked before exporting a game or a collection of games.
Things like:
- forgetting to run gencache when creating a web player
- Issues that happens between different rpg_rt versions
- usage of screen settings, patches, flags, etc
- Linking translation files or urls
- losing files that were inside RTP folder
- Maybe changing splash screen, fonts, soundFonts, etc...?
I'm also including some functionallity from those less known tools:
One suggestion I'd also give to the webplayer is the creation of a file name gamesList.json, that can work with this screen:
it would add a href link to the games in this list like ./?game=testGame or ./?game=DonsAdventure
