Build for .net standard

We are busy migrating to .net core and cannot get this library to work.

Please can you update nuget with the dll build for .net standard

Good day, Is there any update on this? We are in the process of moving our code to .net core from asp.net and we use this library is a lot of apps. And it would be great to have it work for .net standard.

I'm not planing on doing the port to .NET standard, but you might contribute if you like. In .NET core, I am pretty happy with the newly out-of-the-box provided configuration sytsem (appsettings.json + env vars) you can find out more about here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/fundamentals/configuration/?view=aspnetcore-3.1

A port to .NET standard should probably be implemented around the interfaces in Microsoft.Extensions.Configuration namespace.

Unfortunately, I mostly left the .NET scene and almost haven't programmed in .NET core for years. If somebody wants to step up and contribute this, I would definetely merge this and/or grant access to the repo if somebody wants to take over maintainership.
