Image shows unreferenced in ARES Commander 2026

Hi @DomCR,

Can you check this CAD file. I have a image on this file and just I am reading and writing a file. but it shows unreferenced in ARES CAD software and it is visible on the TRUE viewer. why this happens. is it similar like different header name usage on the CAD application!?.

This is a known issue that seems to appear in all Cad Software, I'm not sure why is happening.

I'll keep looking.

okay @DomCR . Thanks. Basically ARES uses oda as a backend to manipulate drawing files. might be autocad and oda handles the image reference in different ways.

oda file converter Shows this recovery message:-

ODA Warning: Cannot set CTABLESTYLE to that value.
OdError thrown during readFile of drawing "C:/Users/ramsi/Desktop/OUTPUT/OUTPUT.dwg" :
Object improperly read: (177)
Previous error: .dwg file needs recovery

ARES Commander Shows:-
Error:Dwg file: Drawing Object Improperly Read: (177)

TABLESTYLE is not implemented yet, I still have to fully support tables, I'll link the PR to the issue when I get started with this one.
