Add Format Progress

I would like to see a progress bar or indication that the process of formatting the disk is running. This would be useful while formatting large drives.

If I remember correctly, there no option in mkfs to show progress. But I'll see more

I looked at mkfs documenation and I didn't find anything about progress. May be somebody can help me with this?
