Description
Adding visual bloom to the Point Light when it hits the Camera
Brief:
In its current state, the point light asset only casts light directly onto objects in the scene but has no direct effect on the camera, ie.: we cannot see where the point light is at all. This not only reduces the realism but also makes it harder to debug scenes, having to extrapolate where the point light is based on how the objects are lit by it.
Plan:
Implement a basic bloom effect which affects the camera when it has direct view of the point light. This bloom's strength will depend on the light's intensity parameter.
Edge Cases:
How should I handle when the point light is directly behind a thin/small object? Should the bloom be visible around the edges of the object, like a solar eclipse? Should the bloom be entirely neglected if the point light is not in full view of the camera? (essentially boolean logic)
