Conda install failing (Distrobox + Miniforge)

System information:

• Ubuntu 24.04 in Distrobox with dedicated (not shared) home directory
• Conda provided by miniforge

Issue:
Even within a clean new conda environment, upon calling conda install fans, the following error message is produced:

ERROR conda.core.link:_execute(938): An error occurred while installing package 'conda-forge::fans-0.6.1-hfd2156b_0'.
Rolling back transaction: done

[Errno 2] No such file or directory: '<root-dir>/miniforge3/pkgs/fans-0.6.1-hfd2156b_0/etc/conda/test-files/fans/0/test/FANS'

I'll gladly try and provide more information.

On the other hand, when installing fans via pixi, there are no issues.

Hi! Thanks for filing an issue. Also good to know everything works well and as intended via Pixi, which is also our preferred and recommended way to go about it.
