Discuss interactive menu for browser selection

At first i watn to thank you for this small but usefull piece of code.

I made some modifications in my fork https://github.com/stgolem/BrowserSelector

• Added interactive menu on url open
• Removed url matching (for now)

So i want to discuss with others, should we merge them together into something bigger and more user-friendly?

My direction is:

• Create more friendly UI for menu
• Add some basic visual settings
• Add installed browsers auto detection, we can take some detection ideas from https://github.com/darktrojan/openwith
• Bring back url matching to shrink browsers list selection

Please share your ideas with me.

I think it's a reasonable idea but a) not at the expensive of url matching or automatic selection and b) it's somewhat out of scope for what I was trying to do.

I'm not really maintaining this anymore (I no longer use it, the app I had that was IE-only is no longer IE only) so there's probably not much value in me taking/merging PRs, but I'd be happy to add a link to your fork in this repo's readme and my blog post if you'd like.

This would be great! I have plans to use it personally as much as possible at work.

If you do not mind i will keep my repo as a separate fork then and rename the application itself with respectful link to your repo in readme ofc.
