Here is the official report by LASEC (i.e. from EPFL itself) which expresses serious concerns about SwissCovid, and particularly its nature as an Open Source project.
For a project, a suspicion of incorrect assertion of "Open Source" is not a small matter.
I would like the team leaders to come forward and justify themselves in front of the Open Source community.
Why did they assert that SwissCovid is Open Source, when this app is apparently a thin wrapper on proprietary APIs by Google (Android) and Apple (IOS)?
What steps did the project team take so that this LASEC report would be published by EPFL while there was political debate in the Swiss public and parliament about SwissCovid?
In particular, why did it not reveal its existence, when the press has known its existence for almost a week?
