Question: Handling of auxiliary files in examples

I noticed that unlike the tests, the examples do not automatically copy auxiliary files, such as input meshes, to the corresponding build folder. I think this is rather inconvenient.

Was this a deliberate decision, .e.g., because of file sizes or something? Otherwise I suggest copy them automatically in cmake (I also don't mind adding that functionality).
