You have a very strange idea. If you have to use windows, such as net8.0-windows, net7.0-windows to compile and run these portings, Why do I need to use CoreForms? Why don't I just use .NET Framework on Windows? You should support pure net8.0/net7.0

We need CoreForms to compile and run on Mac and Linux.

The simple reason is that Windows support is a significant step towards modernizing your stack by using / supporting .net. Linux support unfortunately does not come without additional investments so there has to be a viable business case and return on investment for this.
