Help with touch screen and Audio

i have all of it working accept the buttons on the touch screen and i cant get any audio to come out.

So you are as well one step ahead and behind from what I managed. Audio output works fine with me but my screen remains black.
I had to change the audio configuration in raspi-config -> Advanced Options -> Audio Config to (1) PulseAudio. After a restart I was able to listen to some music.
My Spotify credentials seem to be okay in general (I created a new app for this) but I always get a dialog that wants me to accept cookies. Even accepting them always does not change the behavior.
Did you experience similar problems?

Make sure to run the script through VNC viewer or on the raspberry directly, as ssh for me made use of the lynx interface, which it sounds like you are encountering.
Otherwise try to make sure chromium or firefox is selected in raspi-config and that the raspberry is able to use these.

Can you confirm you are getting the lynx interface before running the KeyboardInterrupt?
In that case you are having problems with opening/using a GUI page for hosting the app.
There are probably many ways to fixing this. For me it was a mix of trying to configure browser and running everything on a terminal with access to Chromium.
What Raspberry version do you have?

Nothing you do in the lynx interface will help.
The problem is that it opens lynx instead of a different GUI element.
You should try the following in terminal:

sudo raspi-config

System Options -> Browser -> Choose either Chromium or Firefox.
In case of firefox make sure you have it downloaded.
For me Chromium worked.

which chromium-browser which firefox sudo apt update sudo apt install chromium-browser # Or: sudo apt install firefox-esr

followed by (where you can set default)

sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser

In case that did not work, try setting it manually for testing:

export BROWSER=chromium-browser

Test:

xdg-open https://example.com

so, update I was finally able to get the record to come up and spin so the only items that are still troublesome is getting actual audio out of the usb speaker when playing music. I've tried multiple things based on various forums with no luck :( and the last setting the program to run on boot this I ve not attempted since I don't have actual audio coming out so seemed like low hanging fruit. I have tried playing video from YouTube from the chromium browser and that comes up no problems but the stream from Spotify not so much. "Help me Obi-wan Kenobi you are my only hope!"

True, forgot that it does not have another port for usb. For me it worked when i used its AUX port. But there are ways of redirecting the sound to the main board ports if you don't have AUX.
Though I have not done that myself.

Hi to all,
I'm having the same black screen issue and searching the issue in Google i found out I'm not alone.
At the beginning was linx but then following the steps of @EliasH-NMBU I managed to reach the Spotify login page but after that the browser becomes white and absolutely nothing appears. I've tried as suggested with both chromium and Firefox but with the same white screen after login result. I dont know if I miss somethig but I've followed step by step.
Another "doubt" I have is in the spotify dashboard configuration which api should I use? I've trier with both Web and Web Playback SDK but none works.

At first glance I think maybe your url might be the issue.
I had some problems with this as well when testing and had to change it multiple times until it worked. Start with testing these (you can have multiple enabled at the same time, just change in the code for testing the different ones):
