Firebase Auth issue

Hello Takeshi

I added Firebase to the project without Authentication active. I added the settings later, however Authentication did not become available in ComposeFlow. I reloaded ComposeFlow and it still doesn't work.

I thought I could change or delete the Project Id and then set the correct Project Id again, however I failed. After I made a connect with the changed Project Id I can no longer make a connect with the correct Project Id.

What could be the problem?

Hi,

From looking at the screenshot, looks like you entered your project's Project number instead of the Project ID.

For your reference, Project ID is the user assigned unique identifier you can see it in Project Settings in the Firebase console.

But entering a wrong ID makes the Project ID field in ComposeFlow not editable needs to be fixed.

On my end, let me fix that TextField issue.

If you have a chance, it would be appreciated if you can try entering your Project ID and see if it works.

Thanks for checking. This time, it looks like corresponding apps for Android, iOS, Web have been created, that's a difference!

Firebase Authentication has a different flag if it's enabled within the Firebase project.

That flag needs to be manually enabled in the Firebase console at the moment.
You can enable that by tapping "Get Started".

Then enable your preferred auth providers (in ComposeFlow at the moment, email/password and Google are the supported providers)

If you complete that, ComposeFlow should detect if your Firebase project's auth flag is enabled (maybe navigate to a different screen and go back to the settings may be required)
